Because No One Should Age Out of Care
Danny’s Place is a safe, supportive space for adults with multiple disabilities who require full-time care. Created by a family living the struggle firsthand, we’re here to fill the gap for those who need more than the system currently offers.
Born From Love. Built Out of Need.
Danny’s Place was founded by a family who faced the reality no one prepares you for: when a child with severe disabilities turns 21, most support systems disappear.
Even though we began planning years in advance, we couldn’t find appropriate programs to support our son Danny once he aged out of the school system. The options were limited—and the ones that existed weren’t designed for individuals like Danny who need full, daily care.
So, we created what we couldn’t find: a place that offers dignity, structure, and compassionate care to adults with complex needs.
When School Ends, So Do the Services
Thousands of families across the country face the same dilemma: their child with disabilities turns 21 and suddenly ages out of educational programs, therapies, and community supports.
For adults with severe, full-time care needs, the gap is even wider. There are very few programs designed for individuals who are fully dependent on caregivers—leaving families overwhelmed, isolated, and without options.
Danny’s Place is working to change that, one family at a time.
You Can Be Part of the Solution
